Welcome

Welcome to Woodbridge College!

It is my pleasure to welcome you to our college community. At Woodbridge College, we are committed to providing high quality post-19 education for young adults with Special Educational Needs and Disabilities (SEND), helping every student to develop the skills, confidence and independence they need to achieve their aspirations.

Woodbridge College opened in September 2018 in response to the growing need for high-quality post-19 provision within the Bolton area. Since then, we have established a nurturing, inclusive and ambitious learning environment where every individual is valued, supported and encouraged to reach their full potential.

As part of the Woodbridge Trust, alongside Firwood High School, Ladywood School and Woodbridge SEND Service, we benefit from a wealth of expertise and a shared commitment to delivering exceptional education and personalised support. Our specialist staff work closely with students, families and external partners to create meaningful learning experiences that prepare our learners for adulthood, employment, further learning and life within their communities.

Our college operates across two welcoming campuses in Kearsley and Heaton, offering high-quality facilities and a broad curriculum tailored to meet the diverse needs, interests and ambitions of our students. We believe that learning should be purposeful, engaging and focused on developing the knowledge and life skills that enable our students to lead fulfilling and independent lives.

Choosing the right college is an important decision, and we are proud of the caring, respectful and aspirational culture that defines Woodbridge College. We hope our website gives you an insight into our values, our curriculum and the opportunities available to our students.

We look forward to welcoming you to Woodbridge College and sharing how we can support you or your young person on the next stage of their educational journey.
